Hominy & Tuna Tostadas

These Hominy & Tuna Tostadas are not only delicious but also fresh with a hint of spice. Perfect for the spring! Plus, you’ll only need a few ingredients (one being the star of the show, Juanita’s Hominy) and the cooking process is easy. Hope you enjoy it!


  • 1 cup Juanita’s Mexican Style Hominy or Juanita’s White Hominy
  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • ½ large red onion
  • Small bunch of cilantro
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1 lime
  • Couple scoops of mayo
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)


1. Dice the cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
2. Add tuna and the juice of the lime to the vegetable mixture.
3. Add mayo and stir to combine
4. Incorporate Juanita’s Hominy into the bowl.
5. Season with salt and pepper
6. Add shredded lettuce to the mixture.
7. Mix everything together and serve on top of a tostada.
